New MADE IN HELL. Presale starts TODAY!

Weeeeee'reeeee Baaaaaaaaaack. We know you've missed us dearly but we've been a bit busy making massive rock albums and what not. We have added 2 T-Shirts, 1 Polo, and 1 Zip-Up Hoodie to the MIH repertoire. All were of course designed by yours truly. As usual, these items are limited edition (250 pieces each), hand-numbered, and signed. Pre-Sale starts today. You know the drill.

http://madeinhell.bigcartel.com

In case you forgot....

MADE IN HELL is wearable art by Ian Watkins.

Super limited edition, numbered, custom printed shirts made to order. Four designs at a time and one collaboration with another artist. Once they are gone, they are gone. They will never be printed again. Once all designs have run out, a new set of limited edition designs will appear. New designs will only be put up once the previous four designs are gone. We have no aesthetic other than putting whatever we want on shirts, and making them something special, something that only a certain number of people in the world will own and will look amazing while doing so. Sometimes the four will have a theme, sometimes they wont. Each shirt comes numbered with a custom tag, sticker and badge. We dont have a bunch of stock waiting to be sold, we only print them if people want them, then once they reach the set limit they are no more. We arent a corporation, we are an idea. We arent the storyline, we are the subplot. We arent a sure thing, we are very limited, We arent the good guys, we are made in hell.

The Good Soldier - Official Statement

As some of you may or not know, Ilan our drummer of 3 years is leaving us for a bigger band and a real pay check.

Jokes aside, I hear you asking did he bite the hand that feeds? What kind of a reptile or demon seed is he? That, my friends, needs to stop right now, i do not want this. Sometimes love is not enough, and after 3 years the line begins to blur. We asked him 'you know what you are?' while he replied if 'only!'. Then went on to tell NIN 'im looking forward to joining you finally' because he is a naughty little piggy. The way out is through times like these, and even though we're in this together we all know Ilan will find happiness in slavery. I know some of you will claim this is heresy, and i will admit i am somewhat damaged, but thats what i get. Yes this does suck but i guess it was his wish .

I also know some of you thought this was all a terrible lie, so i hate having to be the one giving you all the big come down, but even though we are all a little bit fragile right now, i know our survivalism will get us through and it will all be for the greater good. Ilan has a lot of discipline and i know he will no longer think that every day is exactly the same, this is a god given chance for him. So this puts into motion the beginning of the end for Ilan and Lostprophets. We have all grown closer to him, and know he is not the great destroyer. No matter what he never gave up on our vessel. In this twilight we are letting you know that there is no need to panic or worry. This isnt the start of a downward spiral, we are now even deeper into the new album and will never succumb to the great below. Underneath it all my violent heart still beats a proud and sure rhythm. The warning here is that you never know whats around the corner, and even though you may get hurt, sin or no sin, all you need to do is keep your head down and know that you still have us, and we will continue to give you all the love in the world.

We wish Ilan good luck with everything, and while the time we have together is getting smaller, we will always look up at the same lights in the sky and know he is right where he belongs.

X

From Ilan:

Greetings everybody,
I come by to bring you some bittersweet news. As some of you might have read, I will be joining Nine Inch Nails as of 2009. Although the opportunity brings me great honor, It sucks to say goodbye. I wanted to let you all know personally that I'm thankful for everything I've experienced with Lostprophets over the past 3 years. It was an amazing time playing shows all over the world, meeting new friends and fans, and of course being a part of this group. I'll certainly miss it and I hope I haven't upset anyone, but the times always go on. Thanks to everybody who have supported the band and myself the entire time. I hope to see all, or at least some of you at future NIN shows wherever they may be. Also, I wanted to thank Mike, Lee, Stu, Jamie, and Ian, their families, and the crew who have taken me in as one of their own and have helped me get to where I am today. I really do appreciate it all and I consider them some of my best friends (innit). I hope I can keep my Welsh accent sharp for whenever I'm back in the valleys boyos. For all of you out there who are curious about this long awaited 4th album, we are getting ready to record the final tracks. And although it's taken a while, we've always had your satisfaction in mind. But before my rambling gets old, I should mention that I'll still be writing, recording, and performing with The New Regime. Thanks again for everything, sorry for any disappointments, and take care!

IAN WATKINS BACK WITH MADE IN HELL PART DEUX

IAN WATKINS BACK WITH MADE IN HELL PART DEUX

November 21, 2008 (LOS ANGELES, CA) - And we're back... with the latest irony fortified edition of Made In Hell.

Ian has spent the past two months on a DJ tour of the UK, taking to the clubs and turning their minds onto rock remix at its finest. Its been a tour of contrast - dark nights spent in neon glow versus bright days of planning new year's charity dos. Lots of black. Lots of white. Dr. Jekyll. Mr. Hyde. These contrasts are explored in the latest set of Made In Hell tees. Things aren't always what they seem, and each time you or yours eye a Made In Hell original you'll discover something new. A new element to the design, a new entry into the mind of Ian Watkins.

Just like Dorian Gray, your outward appearance will not change with Made In Hell. You will still be the fashion savvy individual that recognizes potential for expression. However, just like Gray, you will change on the inside. Slip on in and feel the darkness grow.... just in time for the holidays.

As per usual shirts are limited and numbered so hurry up and get yours while supplies last.

See you in the shop.

The New Gaze...

Lostprophets are thrilled to announce that guitarist Lee Gaze and his wife, communications specialist Syirin Said, have welcomed their first child—a son.

After almost 60 hours of labour, Syirin gave birth to Daniyal Rehan Said Gaze in London on Oct. 18 with Lee by her side. Daniyal weighed in at 8 lbs., 9 oz.

"We are extremely excited to start our family with the arrival of baby Daniyal. He is so, so cheeky—he sleeps so well when we're out and about, but refuses to sleep when he's home, which means no sleep at all for Mommy and Daddy. But it's all so worth it," say the new parents, who were married in Syirin's native Malaysia earlier this year after four years together. "We're looking forward to whatever comes next from our little monster!"

After spending the last few weeks bonding at home with his new family, Lee is set to join the other members of Wales's Lostprophets at a Los Angeles recording studio this week where the band will finish their fourth full-length album, a follow-up to the No. 1 Liberation Transmission.

NEW MADE IN HELL SHIRTS OMG WTF MIH!!!

Wake up, got another day to get through now….

What to wear? You like that one shirt, but the color doesn't go with your sweet creepers. And that other one? The logo clashes with your hair. So what the HELL to do?

Time to take matters into your own hands. You're already familiar with the mantra – "For us, for them, for you." Made In Hell is green-lighting a more selfish attitude in honor of the impending apocalypse.

Introducing – Made In Hell…. Just for You. You pick the shirt, you pick the ink, we create a custom design to fit your self-expression needs. With four shirts and four inks to choose from, your options are limitless (well okay, that's a lie, your options are limited to 16), but with production shutting down after the first 1000 shirts, uniqueness is once again the star.

Made In Hell will revert back to dictatorship in no time, so be sure to take advantage of this opportunity. It's not often you get to tell Ian Watkins what to make for you….

Stay tuned for round three, featuring brand new original designs and limited edition prints by a very special guest artist….

Here's our invitation. Stand and deliver.

Thank You!

Thanks to all for supporting us at V Festival in Chelmsford and Stafford this weekend.

We'd like apologise for the absence of guitarist Lee Gaze for the majority of the set on Sunday at Stafford. He was at a nearby hospital with his heavily pregnant wife and dashed to the festival site as soon as he was able to play the last few songs. Everything is fine with all the family.

Again, thanks to everyone for your support.

I made art...on a shirt...MADE IN HELL

Over the years, I've been approached by various people and companies about starting my own clothing line, and I've always said no. Do we really need another guy in a band selling crap teeshirts just to pump up his ego? It seemed a bit cliche.

But, as you may or may not know, I used to be a graphic designer and still do all the artwork for the band - album covers, single covers, merch, website, logos etc etc (Jamie helps with illustrations sometimes because he's an awesome painter). Naturally, I've amassed a lot of ideas and designs that couldn't or haven't worked in the context of the band. I looked through them a few months back and realized it would be a shame to let them go to waste.

That said, I still didn't like the idea of being another guy in another band putting his name to crap.

Through my studies of graphic design, I've gotten well into art and collecting it whenever possible. My favorite is mostly street, urban stuff like Banksy and Micallef because I love the way that when they make something, it's limited and unique. The person who owns their work has the pleasure of knowing that there are very few people in the world who have claim to the same thing.

So I had an idea. What if I did something with my designs using this limited element - to make these shirts more than just shirts - make them actual, special works of art (that also make you look rad).

I don't really want to call this a company. I see it more as an experiment, an event. There wont be any big marketing campaign, no big promo, no giveaways. This is something special that I am doing myself. You won't be able to get my shirts in stores or through any other outlets. I don't feel the need to advertise it any further than telling you guys and letting you spread the word...for the time being.

Each cycle will consist of four of my own designs, as well as one collaboration with another artist. I will only produce a limited number of each design. As each one sells out, the screen will be destroyed, never to be produced again. That's it, done. Once all the designs are gone, a new set will go up. Each shirt will be made to order - there's no stockpiled warehouse lying in wait. Every shirt will be numbered and custom made, and will come with a sticker and a badge. Every design will come from my brain via my hands through whatever medium I feel like using at that moment. It's a way to get my ideas out and have other people be a part of it - looking fucking awesome while doing so.

The chances of seeing anyone wearing the same shirt as you are slim to none, and when people start complimenting you and asking where they can get one, you can smugly tell them they can't. They are gone. They are shit out of luck.

Be a friend over at http://www.myspace.com/wearemadeinhell and http://www.wearemadeinhell.com for more info.

Sex, drugs and moderate violence

Good title I thought, and pretty apt also. I wanted to hit u guys up,
give u and update of our goings on etc. Album wise is gonna be sweet.
Still not sure on a release date but I'm super excited about getting it
out there. Best yet I reckon.

As for other stuff, we have been working on a lot of other cool shit
that will start materialising in the next few weeks, months. The first
one I'll tell u about may not interest u, but its something different
that I was a part of and its always cool telling people about stuff.
I've been working on various projects with a couple of fashion
photographers. The shoots have ranged from being really high end
fashion concepts with the Ian Watkins that you know and hate, to a taboo
pushing, ground breaking 'terry richardson' style shoot. That last
shoot was the most interesting for me as it gave me the chance to act
completely out of character and explore the the extreme nihilism of the
80's rock star. We created a digi cam photo diary where I played a character
that was a fusion of Jim Morrison and Nikki Sixx...need I say more? Oh
ok I will, let me just say that no one was harmed during the shoot and
that no animals or children were used! It was an interesting experience, and even though it was staged, some of the results look worryingly realistic, but i guess thats the whole point innnittt! Keep your eyes peeeeeled.

As for the other stuff, look for some big news early may.
